Responsible for research and development of company's flagman software products - PressReader for numerous of desktop and mobile platforms. PressReader is an application, where an end user (PressReader's service subscriber) can download, read and print newspapers from all around the Globe in e-replica format (identical to newspaper's hard-copy on paper). Started from PressReader for Windows, I've been working on all components of the app (UI, communication with server-side code over HTTP, downloading PDFs, decryption, pdf rendering engine, printing). Also I was responsible for getting this product certified at Microsoft to get "Windows Vista compatible" and, later, "Windows 7 compatible" certificate in order to get Microsoft partnership for the company. Later on, I was implementing prototypes and main functionality of PressReader for main mobile and tablet platforms: Android, Iphone OS, Blackberry, Windows mobile, Blackberry tablet OS (playbook). Most recently I’ve been responsible for integration of PressReader.com core control (HTML5-Javascript based) into our mobile apps for most platforms (iOS, Android, Windows 8). Also I've been working on PressReader for Samsung SmartTV platform. During work at NewspaperDirect, I learned a lot in Software Engineering and significantly improved my skills in modern object-oriented software development for multiple platforms in numerous development environments using different programming languages. Now I feel more confident about software development for custom requirements. Project services department. Outsourced software development for corporate clients from North America. I participated in 3 projects: 1. Low-end history server for Areva. It was going to be a part of the industrial automatic software complex. Project was in C++.NET with automated testing abilities. 2. Reusable UI components for internal usage. C# windows forms. 3. PDF renderer engine research project for PressReader. C++. At the Luxoft, I got experience on how to work in well-organized team under strict project management with classic software development methodologies with tasks and roles assignments, everyday meetings, task reporting. Also I learned some about .NET platform, automated testing methods, unit-testing, software architecture methodologies (IBM Rational products), design patterns, source control systems. .NET, C#, C++.NET, design patterns, UML, software development methodologies.

Participation in design and implementation of SCADA-system "KASKAD for Windows" - industrial automatics software system. Also in developing of KLogic-PLC software. I started as a programmer from implementing TSR-module for DOS for playing audio files in background (x86 assembler) back in 1999. Then I started over in software development and learned how to write a C++ programs for Win-32 OS in Borland C++ Builder development environment. I implemented some key parts of the SCADA KASKAD, like Data access server, OPC server, security subsystem, utility applications and communication drivers for numerous industrial units and protocols over COM-port and over mobile network using GSM modem. Also I participated in implementing of universal programming system for PLC, when control program for industrial unit is developed at high-level control language (like FBD or SFC), compiled into command sequence, which then can be loaded and performed by low-level software unit in PLC. Also we created an automated system of quality of technical processes where I was the team lead. The goal of this system was to analyze statistics data about how well industrial process is performed, build mathematical-statistics model of process (by polynomial linear regression, or by stabilization of a process) and try to predict quality of output product. Here I learned how to develop object-oriented software using C++ for Win-32. Also I obtained rich experience in writing low-level drivers for communication with hardware, working with relative databases. I got pretty familiar with the Interbase - SQL database, became skilled at writing stored procedures, UDFs, work with low- lever Interbase API. C++, multithreading, SQL, Interbase, communication drivers, low-level programming, reliable server-side code.
